Kingfisher training academy launched

Kingfisher training academy launched: "Kingfisher Training academy will start its educational courses to prepare India's youths for careers in retail, hospitality, aviation and customer services management sectors.

Chairman and CEO of Kingfisher airlines Dr Vijay Mallya told reporters the academy aims to groom young professionals to effectively meet the growing demand in these sectors in the country.

He said currently, the academy will start at Andheri in north west Mumbai but later it plans to have the same in ten big cities of the country, where it could be given on franchisee basis.

The courses will start in May and will be of six and four month duration, while the fee structure will be Rs one lakh per course.

Dr Mallya said the academy has been started with an investment of Rs ten crore and initially there would be 500 students.

He said kingfisher aviation university is on cards with courses of pilot, engineering, and cabin crew training."
