Kottayam,Friday, February 24,2012: Defending his stance on the Mullaperiyar issue, Minister for Water Resources P.J. Joseph said here on Friday said that there is no need of environmental studies for the construction of a newdam in Mullaperiyar.
He said that the water level will not increase even if new dam is constructed.
If Prime minister interfere in this issue, the new dam will get permission within a week,he commented.
