New Delhi, Wednesday, February 22, 2012: The expert panel submitted interim report in connection with the evaluation of treasure unearthed at the famed Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple before Supreme Court on Wednesday.
The expert team has requested to Apex Court to permit them to open vault ‘C’. The Court will consider the case tomorrow.
According to earlier reports, the temple is believed to have a treasure trove of precious jewels which is estimated to be worth more than Rs one lakh crore, making it the richest temple in the world.
